Stateline Wind Project is a wind energy facility consisting of two units – Stateline 1 & 2 and Vansycle II. Stateline 1 & 2 is composed of 186 wind turbines and has a peak generating capacity of up to 123 megawatts. Vansycle II consists of 43 wind turbines with a peak generating capacity of 99 megawatts.
Operating. On May 17, 2019, the Council approved a fifth amended site certificate, authorizing the certificate holder to repower, or replace existing wind turbine blades and nacelles, on up to 43 wind turbines operating at the Vansycle II unit. The certificate holder must initiate construction by 2022.​ Pursuant to the terms of the Wildlife Monitoring and Mitigation Plan, ongoing wildlife monitoring reports for this facility will be made available for public review and comment. Results of 2018 wildlife monitoring, as reported in April 2019, are provided below. The deadline for submitting comments on the 2018 wildlife monitoring report is July 29, 2019.
