The 2025 Education Accountability Act sets new expectations for school districts and for the Oregon Department of Education to measure outcomes and monitor progress in order to improve student outcomes.
The ultimate aim: to create a transparent, equity-centered system where all Oregon districts have the clarity, tools, and aligned resources needed to continuously improve and meet student success priorities, resulting in measurable, sustained gains in student learning and wellbeing.
