Joint Message of Assurance to Current and Future Students, from Oregon's Colleges and Universities
During this session we reviewed ODE’s guidance information for promoting and supporting mental health for students, staff, families and the community, and asked for feedback and input so that we can better support you in your work.
Educators and mental health providers are presented unique challenges to providing safe and affirming experiences for LGBTQ+ students during distance learning due to COVID-19. In order to ensure care, connection, and continuity of learning, ODE and OHA are collaborating to bring you this webinar to consider the ways to both prevent and respond to bullying, violence, and suicide and self-harm with LGBTQ+ students in mind.
Comprehensive School Counseling Program Tool: A resource designed to provide suggested guidance for how Comprehensive School Counseling Programs may address K-12th graders’ social-emotional learning, academic development, and career and college readiness by providing a continuum of services and supports matched to individual student needs.
