ESEA Monitoring Resources
The Oregon Department of Education and Federal Systems Team strive to build collaborative partnerships with districts through the implementation of federal grant programs. The monitoring of federal grant programs allows the Oregon Department of Education and districts to collaborate while providing equitable education to all students and ensuring accountability.
The Every Student Succeeds Act requires states to develop accountability models that meaningfully differentiate schools for supports. As part of Oregon’s commitment to strengthening school district systems, ODE will partner with school districts to better support schools in need of targeted or comprehensive supports.
TransACT ParentNotices provides Oregon K-12 educators with more than 230 letters, forms, and signs translated into 20+ languages to help meet ESSA compliance and Civil Rights requirements. The Oregon Department of Education purchases this resource, making it available to all K-12 educators in the state.
