MS4 Phase II General Permit 2024 Renewal

Renewal for current permittees only

DEQ is beginning the process of renewing the existing Phase II General Permit. Our process is based on the renewal application information submitted by the permit registrants in accordance with current permit requirements. The renewal of the existing Phase II MS4 General Permit will only cover existing permit registrants, and no new registrants will be designated upon renewal.

Outreach

DEQ has begun outreach to current Phase II General Permit registrants about the renewal of the Phase II MS4 General Permit, and we'd like to hear from you. On Nov. 8, 2023, DEQ presented information on the process and rationale for renewal, followed by a listening session. The invitation was open to all parties with an interest in the watersheds affected by the communities of Medford, Springfield, Corvallis Albany, Keizer, Grants Pass, Ashland, Sherwood, Central Point, Troutdale, Eagle Point, Talent, Philomath, Phoenix, Wood Village, Millersburg, Rogue River, or Turner, or the urban areas of Lane County, Marion County, Jackson County, Linn County, Benton County, Josephine County or Polk County.
