Groundwater Protectiveness Demonstrations

Overview

The following references are existing studies that conclude groundwater will not be contaminated by typical stormwater discharges.  They are specific to particular geologic formations and setbacks (i.e., a minimum depth to groundwater and a minimum distance to water wells). Permit applicants can cite these documents as being protective of groundwater quality at their sites if their UICs are within the same geologic formation(s) and meet the setbacks described in the referenced document.
