Montague Solar Facility (also known as Pachwáywit Fields) is an approved solar photovoltaic energy generation facility with a peak generating capacity of 162 MW that would use or occupy up to 1,189 acres of Exclusive Farm Use zoned land in Gilliam County.
Approved/Under Construction. Construction of the facility commenced in March 2021, including 162 MW of solar facility components, to be located on 1,189 acres.

On May 27, 2021, the certificate holder submitted an Amendment Determination Request (ADR) seeking a written determination from the Department on whether an amendment of the site certificate was required based on changes in the incentives exercised to demonstrate that the solar facility would result in a local economic benefit. Upon completion of review, the Department will issue a written determination, which will be posted to the webpage below, and will also be announced at the next regularly-scheduled Council meeting.
