Montague Solar Facility is an approved solar photovoltaic energy generation facility with a peak generating capacity of 162 MW that would use or occupy up to 1,189 acres of Exclusive Farm Use zoned land in Gilliam County. 

​Approved. The facility has not yet been built. Construction must begin by August 30, 2022 and be completed within 3 years of commencement. 

Please note that on September 25, 2020, the Energy Facility Siting Council approved Request for Amendment 5 of the Montague Wind Power Facility site certificate, which authorized allocation of previously approved facility components into an amended and two original site certificates for Montague Wind Power Facility, Montague Solar Facility and Oregon Trail Solar Facility, respectively.
