Independent Adoption

As of 2011, districts no longer need to notify Oregon Department of Education of an Independent Adoption. The requirements of independent adoptions can be found by reviewing OAR 581-022-2350. For more information, please review the Independent Adoption of Instructional Materials tool in the Instructional Materials Toolkit.

Postpone Adoption

Request for Postponement: Postponement is good for up to two years starting with the publisher contract year of the latest adoption. All adopted Instructional materials must be implemented in September.
