Career and Technical Education (CTE) is content, programs, and instructional strategies for students based on individual interest as well as business and industry needs. CTE prepares and supports students in acquiring the technical skills, professional practices, and academic knowledge critical for career success in high-wage, in-demand areas.
CTE comprises programs offered in six career areas: Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Systems; Arts, Information, and Communications; Business and Management; Health Sciences; Human Resources; and Industrial and Engineering Systems.
ODE administers its CTE grant programs in a manner consistent with
Oregon's Equity Lens.
For further information on CTE, please contact Dan Findley.
The CTE brand logo, brand positioning, theme, and brand extensions are the property of NASDCTEc.
