In 2015, the Oregon Legislature passed Senate Bill 83 requiring teachers who supervise teacher candidates during a clinical practice experience (Cooperating Teachers, CT) to receive training. In 2018, the Metro Area Preservice Partnership (MAPP) was formed consisting of district and Educator Preparation Program representatives. This group created a 2 ½ hour Cooperating Teacher Orientation. The resources created by MAPP are listed below.
