Federal COVID-19 Stimulus Resources

The federal grant programs listed below were established by the federal government to address the impact that the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) has had, and continues to have, on our educational communities. The pages linked below contain the most recent resources and information available for schools and districts on these grant programs.

Elementary and Secondary School
Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER)

Federal funding established by the CARES Act to assist ESDs, school districts, and other educational entities with addressing the impacts of COVID-19.

Elementary and Secondary School
Emergency Relief Fund II (ESSER II)

The CRRSA Act continues federal ESSER funding originally established by the CARES Act to assist ESDs, school districts, and other educational entities with addressing the impacts of COVID-19.

Elementary and Secondary School
Emergency Relief Fund III (ESSER III)

The ARP Act continues federal ESSER funding originally established by the CARES and CRRSA Acts to assist ESDs, school districts, and other educational entities with addressing the impacts of COVID-19.

Comprehensive Distance Learning
(CDL) Grant Program

A combination of multiple federal grants established by the CARES Act for the purpose of assisting school districts with implementing comprehensive distance learning in response to COVID-19.

Equitable Services

A provision of the ESSER I and GEER I (CDL Grant Program) Funds that requires local education agencies to provide equitable services for non-public schools to assist with addressing the impacts of COVID-19.

Emergency Assistance for Non-Public Schools (EANS) Program and ARP EANS

Federal funding under the GEER Fund established by the CRRSA Act and continued by the ARP Act to assist non-public schools with addressing the impacts of
COVID-19.
