The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) Speech-Language Pathology Scholarship Program seeks to address the critical shortage of qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) available to serve students in school districts and Educational Service Districts (ESDs) throughout the state of Oregon. The Program works collaboratively with eligible post-secondary institutions and the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to address the needs of SLPs and SLPAs and the programs that employ them.
The ODE is not currently accepting new applicants to the Speech-Language Pathology Scholarship Program. Current participants and mentors who complete and verify program requirements will still receive payment. This page will be updated as new information becomes available. Please email the ODE SLP Scholarship inbox at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
