The Oregon Department of Education Speech-Language Pathology Scholarship Program

The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) Speech-Language Pathology Scholarship Program seeks to address the critical shortage of qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) available to serve students in school districts and Educational Service Districts (ESDs) throughout the state of Oregon. The Program works collaboratively with eligible post-secondary institutions and the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to address the needs of SLPs and SLPAs and the programs that employ them.

The ODE is not currently accepting new applicants to the Speech-Language Pathology Scholarship Program. Current participants and mentors who complete and verify program requirements will still receive payment. This page will be updated as new information becomes available.
