Special Education Data Collection

The 2019 Oregon Student Success Act (SSA) requires school districts to build on the strengths and assets of young people, educators, and families across the state, including students with disabilities. Data are critical to focusing priorities and needs as it relates to the SSA. The Special Education Data Collections provide essential data regarding student with disabilities.

The Special Education Data Collection (SEDC) web page provides information, resources, and links to data collections, public data reports, and other topics related specifically to Special Education data.

Special Education Child Count

Links to technical documents, trainings and other collection related resources.

Child Find (Indicator 11)

The Child Find collection is used to gather data for a federally mandated report that identifies and reports on the number of initial evaluations for special education for which consent is provided and eligibility is determined.
