All districts are required to complete CEIS annually in the fall. Coordinated Early Intervening Services may be voluntary or required if the district was found to be significantly disproportionate.
All districts are required to complete Private School Data annually in the fall. The collection collects private school enrollment data and provides a calculation of proportionate share of IDEA Funds for parent placed private school students.
The Annual Application and Assurances is used by school districts, also known as Local Education Agencies (LEA), to apply for federal formula pass-through grant funds provided under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This document is also used to assure LEAs will operate consistent with the requirements of IDEA. Funds received due to this application and assurances may be used for the excess cost of providing special education and related services.
