Integrated Community Partnership Grants

The Oregon Department of Education’s Office of Education Innovation and Improvement (OEII) is pleased to announce the release of the 2023-25 Integrated Community Partnership Grants Request for Applications (RFA).

This grant focuses on funding community-centered approaches to address the root causes of chronic absenteeism. Proposed Projects will be developed at the local level to provide context and appropriate Services to the local community with the aim of removing barriers to attendance and engagement, while simultaneously building systemic supports for Students and families to improve attendance and engagement.

Who is eligible to apply for the Grant Program?

According to OAR 581-020-0655, applicants must be a:

  • Community-Based Organization (“CBO”);
  • Culturally-Specific Organization (“CSO”);
  • Early learning hub or an early learning provider;
  • Education Service District (“ESD”);
  • Tribal Government; or
  • Consortia of the above eligible entities. 

All application materials are available on OregonBuys, under S-58100-00008392. Interested parties will need to submit all completed materials to the Single Point of Contact, Ufemia Castaneda by November 14, 2023 at 4pm. Instructions for this process are provided in the drop-down menu below.

How to download application materials 

Please review all Request for Applic​ation (RFA) materials prior to applying. All materials can be found on the OregonBuys website​, under “File Attachments”. ​​​​​

How to submit completed application materials
Please submit an electronic version of all application materials (located on OregonBuys​) to the Single Point of Contact (SPC), Ufemia Castaneda, Ufemia.Castaneda@ode.oregon.gov. Be sure to attach all necessary documents. If possible, multiple files should be compressed (zipped) into a single folder for submission.

Applications are due by 4pm PST Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Only complete Applications submitted by Closing will be evaluated and scored. 



​Funding Amount

​The Integrated Community Partnership Grant Program will award grantees through June 30, 2025. ODE may choose to extend or renew the contracts through the 2025-2027 biennium, dependent on continued program funding. The amount of each Grant is anticipated to be up to $300,000.00 for the 2023-2025 biennium.

  • 10/31/2023, 4:00 PM - Agency posts responses to Applicant questions and requests for clarification issued
  • 11/14/2023 - Applications due by 4:00 PM
  • 12/18/2023 (Approximate) - Issuance of notice of intent to award (approximate)
