The State School Fund (SSF) is the main source of operating revenue for Oregon’s K-12 public schools. It is comprised of State and Local resources, with State resources allocated by the Legislature each biennium, and Local resources to be included in the formula as described in law. These resources are distributed to school districts and education service districts based on an equalization formula. The resources on this page can be used to help with understanding the formula, data sources, and timing of the State School Fund formula.
