This award celebrates their vision and commitment to ensuring that Oregon's next generation grows up with healthy meals, meaningful food education, and a deeper connection to land and people who feed them.

The nomination process is now open for the following Oregon Harvest for Schools Award categories:
- School Garden Coordinator of the Year: The individual who has made biggest impact in their garden via innovation, collaboration and hard work, and dedication.
- Nutrition Service Professional of the Year: The Nutrition Service Director, Manager, Kitchen Manager or frontline person who has made the biggest impact in farm to school.
- Oregon Food Producer of the Year: The Oregon Farmer, Rancher, Grower, Fisher, or food producer that has shown the biggest impact and dedication to Oregon farm to school.
- Community Partner of the Year: Community partner, such as a nonprofit organization or volunteer, who best demonstrates collaboration, equity, sustainability and dedication to farm to school in Oregon, regionally or statewide.
- School Garden of the Year: The school garden that best demonstrates innovation and engages children in learning about Oregon food and agriculture.
