The Oregon Department of Education Immigrant/Refugee Student Success (IRSS) Advisory Group will be holding virtual meetings on the third Thursday of the month from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm PST.
During these meetings the Advisory Group will provide insight, advise, and offer recommendations to the Oregon Department of Education around the development and implementation of the statewide plan for Immigrant/Refugee students who are being served in early childhood to post-secondary education programs.
Presently, the Immigrant/Refugee Student Success Program is only accepting written public testimony. Please submit written testimony electronically to the Immigrant/Refugee team no later than 5:00 p.m. the date before the meeting. ADA accommodation and translation (including ASL) requests should be made by calling 971-240-8425 at least 2 business days before the meeting.
