Source Water Protection Workshops

EPA and local partners regularly sponsor a series of watershed protection workshops in Oregon and Washington to bring together drinking water operators, land managers, and restoration practitioners. Each one-day workshop is a mix of short presentations with question and answer time, facilitated discussions, and open dialogue, along with a site visit or table-top exercises. The workshops are designed to discuss collaborative opportunities to improve water quality for drinking water and fish in watersheds. Partners developed a funding matrix for source water protection to help utilities and practitioners identify restoration and source water protection funding sources.
